NH Orchards II

NH Orchards

So I should be writing a 4 page essay on Hamlet, but instead, decided to delve into the archives of my photography. Found this one and thought I'd put it up to share. Hope you like it.

Pieced together from about 7 photos, this is what my vacation evenings amount to.

Decided to test out my new camera shutter-release remote in the back yard. And hey, for a first attempt - not too shabby. (15 min. exposure)

Pretty, huh?

Manch-Vegas

Yet another late night spent meandering the dark streets of Manchester, NH. I could probably do a whole photo-series of Manchester at night. Who knows?

No Such Thing as Too Many Windows

One of the dominant features in Manchester is the overflowing hordes of once-operating industrial mills along the rivers edge. If only it were still the 30's.

Back home to Maine for a visit, decided to re-shoot this location (seen below), just for the sake of it. It's so good to be back.

Ran into our old friend John Holland strumming his guitar on the streets of burlington. What a great guy. The kinda man to look up to.

Eye See You

Sometimes the only models that are willing to work with me are of the four-legged persuasion. Whatever I can get, I guess.

Island Villa

Yet another scenic location along the rocky shores of Star Island. It's a photographer's paradise.

Another fine evening at the Downstairs Mixup in Keene, NH.

Stars & Stripes

Flying High

Taken in downtown Portland, ME. 35mm. Oh, the good ol' days of highschool photo class.

Excuse me sir, your face is leaking...

So today's the last day at home before I leave for ART school tomorrow. And what better way to pass the hours than to snap some new photos. Got inspired to try this one after watching a TV commercial. All you need is a bowl of milk, a syringe, and a quick trigger finger. I was pretty pleased in the end.

Star Island

Out for another fine visit to Star Island on the Isles of Shoals. Beautiful area, and a photographers paradise.

I've driven past this old farm house almost every day, but today was the first time I'd actually stopped to snap a few shots. Gotta love Maine.

Midnight Mayhem

Oh, what fun one can have with long exposures, a hand held flash, and a couple cheap flashlights. This was taken well after dark, by the way.

Angel Falls

So this picture may have been one of the most challenging locations I've ever been to. After driving almost 2 hours, walking another hour and a half down a road, and hiking in through rivers and mud for another half hour, I arrived here; at the 90 foot drop of Angel Falls in Byron, ME. Wanna check out this location? Be prepared for a hike, kiddos.

Vermont Beauty

Believe it or not, this was taken about 10 feet off the side of the highway just outside of brattleboro, VT. People didn't seem to be too amused that i decided to pull over. They just dont appreciate a great photographic opportunity. jeesh. It speaks for itself.

Yes ladies, that's actually him. In the flesh. Besides the fact that he was about an hour late for his own show, it went over quite well. Straight up pimpin right there.

Whilst upon a drive through the distant farm lands of Langdon, NH, I came across some rather stunning locations. You almost can't tell you're in New England.

Putting my macro function to a bit of a test. Just another wandering photo shoot across the flower-infested campus of Keene State College.

When all else fails, and you can't come up with a model when you're in the mood the shoot, there's always ol' Red. Very consistent model, too.

Birdie Want a Peanut?

..of course he does. Found this little fella atop Mt. Jackson in the presidential range of NH's White Mountains. Not shy whatsoever. And no, there was no photoshop involved.
